“Symphony of good practice” is the motto of the first edition of Project Management Excellence Forum Wroclaw 2012. The conference will take place on 9th February 2012 in the Conference Centre of Wroclaw University of Technology.
Representatives from world-known brands and companies that have built their competitive edge on effective project management will share their experience.
Conference
The conference allows participation in 4 forms of training that will provide the opportunity to both listen to practitioners, as well as participate in discussions or workshops:
- Lectures – experts from the largest companies and public institutions will talk about various aspects of project management
- Case Studies – is, among other, about organization of Euro 2012 in Wrocław as one of the largest enterprise in Wroclaw last decade
- Discussion panel – this is an opportunity to exchange views with professionals from different sectors of the market
- Workshops – includes strategic games simulating project management – one of which was awarded by the world’s largest organization for Project Managers (Project Management Institute) as the best training in the world.
Particularly important for the PMP certificate holders: Participants have the opportunity to receive 5 PDUs (via self-registration at PMI in category C). Details of the registration desk.

Excellent PM
About the competition
Presence of many exquisite project managers in the same place at the same time during Project Management Excellence Forum Wroclaw 2012, gives fantastic opportunity to all participants not only for exchanging experience but also to confirm own professional skills. One of a few ways offered by the Forum to verify theoretical as well as practical knowledge is Excellent PM competition.
The knowledge test which is part of the competition will be held right after the conference and is free of charge. The test will be having 30 questions possibly with multiple correct answers. Scope of the test questions is project management, but will not be limited to any single methodology and may include queries concerning PRINCE2, as well as best practices promoted by IPMA and PMI. Time available for the test: 40 minutes. Language: Polish.
For top three competitors we have prepared attractive prizes, Apple iPad2 tablets. Moreover, results of the competition will be published in Internet social media where Project Management Excellence Forum Wroclaw 2012 is present.
Participation rules
Take a few simple steps for joining the competition:
1. Fill in the conference registration on-line form and register as the Forum participant.
2. Make sure you received e-mail confirmation of registering you for the conference.
3. Appear at the conference, approach registration desk, take a part, win!
Details of the competition, including rules and prizes are described in the competition bylaw.
Due to limited number of seats we defined the following registration rules:
First of all, registration order is important - registration is open as long as there is spare place, which means first come first served!
Secondly, experience counts, especially in managing projects.
Thirdly, the registration deadline is 3rd February 2012.

Participants will be qualified by the Conference Scientific Committee based on data provided in the registration form, considering their competencies. All those who will qualify to participate in the Forum will be informed via e-mail no later than 5 working days from the date of their registration.
